This Refund Policy applies to the one-time purchase of PrivaPDF Lifetime licenses sold through our authorized payment processor, Paddle. EmergingAI LLC ("we", "us", "our") is the provider of PrivaPDF.
1. Refund Eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with PrivaPDF. If you are not happy with your purchase, you may request a refund under the following conditions:
- Within 14 days of your purchase, you may request a full refund for any reason.
- Refund requests made after 14 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Because PrivaPDF Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges, there are no renewal refunds to worry about.
2. How to Request a Refund

Please include the following in your request:
- Your email address associated with the purchase
- The date of purchase
- The reason for requesting a refund
We will process your request within 5 business days.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through Paddle, our payment processor. The refund will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
4. License Revocation After Refund
Upon a refund being issued:
- Your PrivaPDF Lifetime license will be revoked on the activated device.
- The device will revert to the Free Tier (10 PDF lifetime limit).
- The refunded email will no longer be able to activate a new device using that purchase.
5. Lost Access to Your Email
Since your email is your license, losing access to it normally means you cannot re-activate on a new device. If this happens, contact support@privapdf.org with your name and the last four digits of the card used at checkout. We will look up your Paddle order and re-issue the license to a new email address.
6. Free Tier
The Free Tier of PrivaPDF is provided at no cost (up to 10 PDF files lifetime). Since no payment is involved, refunds do not apply to Free Tier usage.
7. Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:
- Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated purchases and refunds)
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
